Mr. Kenechukwu Okeke who alleged said many properties that belong to him were destroyed and thereby filed a law suit for 50 ENDSARS protest promoters is now in soup. He dragged the 50 promoters before a Chief Magistrate’s court in Abuja due to their alleged roles in #EndSARS protests.
Among the defendants filed in the law suit by Okeke are activist, Aisha Yesufu; ex-Super Eagles legend, Kanu Nwankwo; a former Director-General, Bureau for Public Sector Reform, Dr Joe Abah; Senior Pastor, Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi; journalist, Kiki Mordi, and actors, Yul Edochie and Uche Jombo.
Musician David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy, Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz; and social media comedians, Maryam Akpaokagi aka Taaooma and Debo Adebayo aka Mr Macaroni.
Nonetheless, more musicians sued include Innocent Idibia aka Tuface, Peter and Paul Okoye, Michael Ajereh aka Don Jazzy, Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W, Tiwa Savage, and Yemi Alade.
The Twitter was full of the heated controversy regarding the law suit filed by Okeke and many of the defendants have lambasted Okeke and called his law suit filing a “frivolous’ suit.
@sam_adeyemi tweeted, “Who sent this guy to file this frivolous law suit?”
@OgbeniDipo wrote, “Not only does that (Okeke) want to sue Aisha Yesufu, Falz, Banky W and others, he also wants to sue Pastor Sam Adeyemi.”
@OgoOn80 corroborated Dipo’s stand, “But wait, why will Sam Adeyemi be on this list? Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.”
On his part, @aproko_doctor described Okeke as a clown. “I feel nothing short of pity for you, pity because you’re so blind to common sense. Blind to truth. Once again, you’re a clown,” he tweeted.
“If you’re going to name me in a court process, do it properly. My full name is Ayodele Olorunfunmi Sogunro,” @ayosogunro kicked.
@Mochievous, however, advised Okeke to “consider joining the incredible lawyers who are volunteering pro bono to help get peaceful protesters illegally detained out. Might be a better use of your time.”
